The Pegassi Speeder is a boat that fist appeared in Grand Theft Auto III, and has in every subsequent GTA ever since, with the exception of GTA Advance and Grand Theft Auto IV. Although it was not featured in Grand Theft Auto V initially either, it was later added by the Beach Bum Update.

Trivia

  • The Speeder in Grand Theft Auto V is based on the Riva Aquarama, a quite famous runabout. It may seems strange that it is made by Pegassi, previously a brand that exclusively made cars and bikes, with many hints towards Lamborghini and Ducati: neither of whom is a boat manufacturer. This may be a reference to Ferruccio Lamborghini, the founder of Lamborghini, whom ordered a custom Aquarama to be fitted with two of his own V12 engines, taken from the 350GT. Thus, a one-of-a-kind Aquarama was born, often dubbed the "Riva Aquarama Lamborghini".
