GTA III contains thirteen different weapons, ranging from Claudes fists to the feared rocket launcher. The melee weapon, the baseball bat, is new in the Grand Theft Auto series, as is the sniper rifle, which can only be used in FPV.
Weapons are scattered throughout Liberty City, but you can also buy them at Ammu-Nation. This weapon shop can be found in Portland and Staunton Island. Besides Ammu-Nation, you can buy weapons in a garage in Shoreside Vale and at Phil Cassidy's shop in Staunton Island.
