Kendl is the sister of Carl, who likes to discuss, especially with Sweet, the brother of Kendl and Carl. Kendl is sad because of the fact that Carl wasn't there when everything in their family went wrong. She dates with Cesar, a member of the Varios Los Aztecs Gang in Los Santos. After the death of Beverly (their mother) she was considered the brain of their family.

Kendl's voice was interpreted by Yolanda Whittacker, whose nickname is Yo-Yo. As Yo-Yo she preformes as hip-hop MC, after she was discovered by no-one less than Ice Cube.
