A grenade or hand grenade is a small projectile which can be thrown by hand. They explode a couple of seconds after you've released the pin, which means grenades can bounce several times before exploding, making it hard to aim them.
Grenades can be used in every GTA since GTA2, with the exception of GTA Advance.
