A molotov cocktail is a bottle filled with a flammable liquid and a fuse made of cloth. A molotov cocktail will produce a fireball when the bottle is smashed, which causes nearby pedestrians and vehicles to catch fire. This is deadly to humans, but vehicles won't take much damage. In GTA2, molotov cocktails are identical to grenades, although they explode directly on impact rather than a set period of time. These molotov cocktails are dangerous to cars.
As with a grenade, the longer you press the attack-key, the further you'll throw the bottle.
