Ken Rosenberg is invited to a party of Colonel Cortez, but wants you to go instead of him. Colonel Cortez is someone who has a lot of contacts with the biggest criminals of Vice City so this is the perfect opportunity for Tommy to get known with that kind of people. Before you can go to the party at the Colonels yacht you have to change clothes at Rafaels. After this, you have to go to the yacht of Colonel Cortez, where in the meanwhile the party already started. Colonel Cortez welcomes you and after a short conversation he introduces you to his beautiful daughter Mercedes. She will tell you the names of all the other guests, which is quite important to know, because you will meet them later on again. Not all the criminals of Vice City are at the party, but you will know most of them by name after the party. After a while Ricardo Diaz arrives, who immediately starts to trouble Mercedes.
Mercedes doesn't want to talk to Diaz and she asks Tommy to drive her to the city. Now you finally have to do something in this mission: Bring Mercedes to the Pole Position Club, the famous nightclub of Vice City. On your way, Mercedes and Tommy are having a conversation and Mercedes makes clear she likes you quite well. After arriving at the Pole Position Club and Mercedes got out of the car, the mission is passed. Now you know which people are important to know to reach your goal in Vice City.
