Little Jacob will call you to tell you he has found one of Jimmy Pegorino’s men. Jacob thinks they will take you straight to Pegorino. Niko tells Jacob to wait for him, because he is on his way. He also asks him why Roman is there, Jacob tells you he is there for you. Niko is determined to revenge Kate’s death. Go to Jacob and Roman, they are waiting for you in Jacob’s Cognoscenti outside a hotel in Alderney. Get in, and a cut scene will start.
Pegorino’s men will come outside and see you. They will enter a Huntley Sport and drive off. Make a U-turn and follow them. They use every inch of the road so stay focussed. Do not shoot at them, just follow them. When they change lanes you do not have to follow them immediately, but when the next gap appears, you better go through, because they will leave the highway on the wrong side. They will drive through town, stay on their tails. At a certain point in the north of Alderney they will drive onto a dirt road and at the end of it they will make a sharp U-turn. Do so, and follow them onto the grass. A cut scene will start when you arrive at what seems to be and old and ruined casino.
Pegorino is inside the building, but outside there are a lot of his men. Niko stops the car and they use it as cover. Jacob asks Niko about the plan, and Niko tells him he wants to do it on his own. The best Jacob can do is to keep his cousin alive; he does not want to loose Roman as well. He also asks Jacob to come up with an escape plan. Jacob insists and he and Roman get the hell out of there. When you regain control over Niko you will have to kill everyone out there.
The best thing to do is to start by killing the three men on top of the building with an assault rifle or a sniper rifle from behind your car. Then use your RPG to blow up some of the cars in front of you, it will kill some of the men who are standing behind them. Then crouch towards the sandbags and use them for cover. Toss some grenades towards the cars in the back; this will kill some more men. There will always be some men left, kill them with a SMG or assault rifle. Bewared of the part with the fence around it, there will be some men in cover. Toss a grenade or kill them with a shotgun. When everyone outside is dead, you go to the open door. Right before you get there you will receive a text message from Jacob. He has an escape route and tells you to look towards the sky. You better take cover to the right side of the door. There will be some men in front of you, but there is also one to the left, on the stairs near two stored cabins. This one has a shotgun, so be sure to kill him before you enter the casino. If it is not possible to hit someone, you might as well throw a grenade, this usually works very well. When everyone is dead, go inside and kill the remaining men, then go to the left into the stairwell.
A cut scene will start in which Jimmy blames you for everything, Niko tells him everything would be alright if he had not killed Kate. Jimmy flees, follow him upstairs and go through the door. Before you go outside, you better start aiming. Then go out and shoot Pegorino’s men. Start with the two in front of you, and then look to your right, there will be three more. When you have killed them as well, you better not follow Jimmy down the ladder, but go up the roof to your right. There will be some more of Jimmy’s men, kill them as well and go to the lower part of the roof. Take a look over the ledge on your left; you will see some more men. Kill them as well and go down the ladder. A car appears, you better destroy it with your RPG or a grenade, than follow Jimmy. He will be in a boat and will take of when you get to close. Go down the stairs and get on the Sanchez which is parked over there.
Go full speed and follow the coastline. After a while Jacob and Roman will appear in an Annihilator, talking about air support. They want to chase Pegorino, but Niko wants to join them. A marker will appear near a ramp. Be careful and drive through the marker. A cut scene will start in which Niko grabs on to one of the bars beneath the helicopter. Rapidly tap the 
–button [PS3], the 
–button [X360] or the spacebar [PC] to get into the helicopter. Niko will gain control over the helicopter and follow Pegorino’s boat while Jacob will shoot. Keep a distance; one of Pegorino’s men will shoot at you with a RPG. At a certain moment Jacob has a good shot, but the man with the RPG does also. Jimmy crashes his boat at Happiness Island and he flees on foot. Niko manages to land the helicopter. After the cut scene you regain control over Niko.
Follow Pegorino. Beware of his accomplice, he will shoot at you and if you shoot him you will have a wanted level, so the police are after you ass well. You might have to kill a cop to get to Pegorino. He will be near the Statue of Happiness, wearing armor. Use a fitting gun to kill him.
A cut scene will starts in which Pegorino goes down bleeding. Niko tells him he knows some men of The Commission and they never took him and his family seriously. When Niko turns around Jimmy tries to shoot him in the back, but Niko is smart. He turns around quickly and kills Jimmy. He is tempted to empty his gun at Jimmy, but he does not. Kate’s death is avenged. Jacob and Roman come to him and tell him he won and they are finally free.
You now completed the storyline of Grand Theft Auto IV, and you will see the credits. After the credits Roman will give you a call. He asks you if you are alright and tells you not to blame yourself about Kate’s death. He also tells you Mallorie is pregnant and they have decided to name the baby Kate if it is a girl. Niko congratulates him. Also Packie will call you; he still can not believe Kate is dead.
Tips
- Start the mission with full health and armor, and a lot of guns with at least a SMG, an assault rifle, a RPG and some grenades.
- After the chase through Alderney there is an alternative route towards the old casino. Go back underneath the bridge and then to your right towards the road. From the road you have a better view over the battlefield.
- Once you are on the roof there is a route to avoid a lot of enemies. After you killed the first two men, go down the ladder. There will be some men to your right, kill them or ignore them. Jump into the water and swim towards the landing-stage where Jimmy is. Get on the landing-stage, after this Jimmy will flee and you can follow him by Sanchez.
- It is possible to prevent a chase on Happiness Island by aiming at Jimmy immediately and kill him.
- When you fail the mission after the chase through Alderney and you immediately replay the mission using the text message, you will start at the point you arrive at the old casino.
