In Manhunt, a Rockstar Games game, you play the role of James Earl Cash. James E. Cash is convicted for murder, but is saved from the death penalty by 'The Director'. The Director wants him to commit violent murders in Carcer City, so he can tape them and use them in snuff movies.
The Grand Theft Auto series contain many references to Manhunt.
