Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories (also known as GTA Vice City Stories or Vice City Stories) is the second GTA made for the PSP. Just like its predecessor GTA Liberty City Stories, the game was also ported to the PS2, and was released on this platform on 6th of March 2007.
The game is set in Vice City in 1984, two years before GTA Vice City. The game's protagonist is the 28 year old marine Victor Vance. Victor needs money and goes up insisting of his brother Lance onto the wrong side of the path. In the story Victor and Lance meet many persons, a lot of which are well-known from GTA Vice City. The graphic elements are robust improved with respect to GTA Liberty City Stories. If you are finished with the missions, you can for instance defend and attack business premises with the new Empire Building option. Escape from the warm weather of Vice City? Jump in the water and take advantage of the new possibility to swim. The bicycle is just as in GTA San Andreas also present. And you can play with at most six players ten different multiplayer missions via the AD-Hoc function.
The story
Vice City, 1984. Opportunity abounds in a city emerging from the swamps, its growth fuelled by the violent power struggle in a lucrative drugs trade. Construction is everywhere as a shining metropolis rises from foundations of crime and betrayal.
As a soldier, Vic Vance has always protected his dysfunctional family, his country, himself. One bad decision later and that job is about to get much harder. Kicked out onto the streets of a city torn between glamour and gluttony, Vic is faced with a stark choice - build an empire or be crushed.
